Erika eckstut:
Erika was born in 1928 in Znojmo, Czechoslovakia . She was interviewed for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. In 1941, men came to her house to take her family. She said that many of the men were killed first and that the killers were neighbors. What saved them was the fact that the men ran out of bullets. So her and her family were able to go home.
